Important Considerations for Sleep Apnea
Use this brief questionnaire and checklist to determine if you might be at risk for sleep apnea.
OSA patients show a high prevalence of cardiovascular diseases (systemic hypertension, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, ischemic stroke), respiratory diseases (COPD, asthma), and metabolic disorders (diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, gout). Many other disorders were also identified, including peptic ulcer disease, gastroesophageal reflux, chronic liver disease, anxiety, insomnia, and depression.
