All of our custom-made dental sleep devices can be adjusted by you in the convenience of your own home. We will give you the appropriate adjustment tool or bands or connecting rods so that you can make the weekly adjustments yourself. Then monthly or every four weeks or so, we ask that you follow up with us in the office so that we can monitor the fit, check the adjustments, and have a discussion regarding whether or not your dental device is in the “sweet spot” where it is helping you the most. Usual and customary is no more than a few follow-up appointments are needed. If you have trouble adjusting the device yourself or physically unable, then we are happy to do it for you in our office.
